Dental Implant
A dental implant mimics the form and function of a natural tooth, which consists of a root and a crown. The dental implant itself is made of titanium, and acts as the root of the tooth. A dental implant crown is then attached to the titanium implant. Dr. Eddie is a board certified periodontist with extensive training and management of all aspects of implant surgery.
Extractions including bone grafting procedures
Removal of a tooth is required when the tooth may have a large cavity or infection which cannot be predictably resolved with any other dental treatment. Removal of the tooth is usually accompanied with bone grafting to allow proper bone regeneration to maintain the integrity of the jaw, and to allow a healthy site for a future dental implant if needed.
